This is a composition that I did the second term. The topic is "Computers have made the world a better place", and I had to discuss it (7 out 10). Here is:


Computers have really changed our life. At the beginning, not everybody can have one, but now, there is a computer in practically everybody’s home. It’s very practical for a great many things, but sometimes there are too much…

On the one hand, computers have helped lots of people on the work, the communication and the facilities to get nearly whatever we want with the Internet.

But, on the other hand, there are also bad things: people who are normally reserved, can find in the computer a virtual friend and move away from his/her real life. The Internet has fascinated children with games and chat groups, and also the adult people. There are also pederasty networks and programs to have free music, things that could hurt lots of people.

In conclusion, I think that for work computers are the best technology that exist, and for communication and get things easy without leaving home; but always with moderation.
